the beginning

i made my first "word art" over 25 years ago. i loved the way it captured memories of favorite places and reminders of life and love. the boyfriend i made it for became my husband. while raising our five children i have enjoyed the outlet of creating albums, projects, gifts with photographs and written memories. i believe that we have a responsibility to pass on our family history to the next generation. as i too quickly move through each stage of life - i have wondered how to share some of what i care about with others. the love i have for my hometown - where i have raised my family inspired me to create a print celebrating all that is lakewood to me. this was the start of lexicon.etc. discovering this way to share my love of words by designing prints is my newest passion.
